City Board/Advisory Commission members needed

City Commissions provide various opportunities for citizen participation in issues concerning the community and its residents. The community and city council of South St. Paul relies on the advice and assistance of nine distinct boards and commissions. They are as follows: 

Airport Advisory Commission,
Central Square Board
Charter Commission,
Library Board,
Northern Dakota County Cable Communications Commission, Parks and Recreation Advisory Commission,
Planning Commission,
Police and Fire Civil Service Commission 

New terms on these bodies may be available effective March 1, 2018. Citizens are asked to consider offering their time and talent through service on one of these boards or commissions. The City Council may choose to interview candidates before filling the openings.
