Northeast metro residents and businesses have a new community banking option. North American Banking Company opened its newest branch, located at 435 Highway 96 West in February. The full service banking office offers commercial and personal banking to the Shoreview area and to those commuting along the Highway 96 corridor.

“We are excited to be a part of the Shoreview community,” said Michael Bilski, North American Banking Company’s CEO. “We hope our experience as Small Business Association’s 2016 Third Party Lender of the Year and ongoing commitment to the community will make this a true value-add for the area.”

Luke Ferden, vice president of business banking, and Kelley Mickus, vice president of retail banking, will lead the Shoreview branch. Both have extensive community banking experience and are already active in the local community, with Ferden a member of the Roseville Rotary and Mickus serving on the Shoreview YMCA board of directors.

“We are committed to not just serving this community, but truly becoming a part of the lives of both our personal and business banking customers,” said Bilski.

With a focus on meeting the needs of small to mid-size businesses and individual consumers, North American Banking Company offers both in-person and extensive online and mobile-banking options. The bank combines modern technology and best-in-class banking methods with an in-depth familiarity with their customer.

“Banking is personal,” said Bilski.  “We want to get to know you and your financial goals and work with you to make them happen.”

While some banks are no longer offering coin counting, North American Banking Company’s Shoreview office features a self-service coin counting machine that can be accessed during lobby banking hours. They also offer expanded drive-through hours, including access through noon on Saturday, and a drive-up ATM to accommodate customers’ busy lifestyles.

The Shoreview branch joins four other North American Banking Company locations across the metro. The first branch opened in Roseville in 1998 and they have since added branches in Minneapolis, Hastings and Woodbury. In the nearly 20 years since the bank opened its doors, it has built a loyal following among its customers and hopes to establish the same long-standing relationships in the northeast metro.

Various incentives, such as gift cards and bonus rates will be offered for a limited time.  Make sure to ask about the current promotion when you stop in.

North American Banking Company works with the communities they serve to host opportunities for businesses to network. In March they hosted a Lunch and Learn about strategic utilization of social media and in April they will host the Economic Development Commission meeting.

Stop in anytime to see the new office, enjoy a cup of coffee and meet the banking team.
