Meatballs and Sauce

Ingredients:

Meatballs:

1 (12 oz.) can evaporated milk

3 lbs. ground beef

3 cups oatmeal

2 eggs

1 cup diced onion

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

2 teaspoons salt

1/2 teaspoon pepper

2 teaspoons chili powder 

Sauce:

2 cups ketchup

1 1/2 cups brown sugar

2 Tablespoons liquid smoke

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

1/2 cup diced onion

 

Instructions:

Mix meatball ingredients all together and make meatballs. Use an ice cream scoop to make large meatballs. Or form smaller balls, which yields 65 to 75 meatballs.

Mix sauce ingredients together

Preheat oven to 375° F. Place meatballs in a single layer in cake pans. Cover with sauce and bake uncovered for 45 to 60 minutes until the sauce look dark around the edges.
