Holiday Leftover Turkey Hot Dish

Ingredients:

1-1/2 cups cooked turkey, diced

1 stalk celery, chopped

1/4 medium onion, chopped

1 small can (4 oz.) sliced mushrooms, drained

1 can (8 oz.) sliced water chestnuts, drained

1 can (10-3/4 oz.) cream of mushroom or cream of chicken soup

1/2 soup can filled with milk

1/2 cup cranberries, cut in half

1/2 granny smith apple, diced coarsely

2 cups chow mein noodles

Topping: Extra chow mein noodles

 

Instructions:

Preheat oven to 350° F.

Mix all of above except topping and put in a sprayed 2 1/2 quart casserole dish. Bake for 50- 60 minutes.

Top with extra chow mein noodles on each serving for extra crunch.

Note: Can be made ahead of time and refrigerated until baked – allow extra 10 minutes in oven if refrigerated.
