Commissioner Victoria Reinhardt wins again
Victoria Reinhardt will be adding to the two decades she has already served on the Ramsey County Board of Commissioners.
About 70 percent of the county board's District 7 voters supported Reinhardt, while approximately 28 percent preferred her opponent, Kim Point, in the nonpartisan race. Write-ins accounted for .88 percent.
Ramsey County Board District 7 is made up of Maplewood, North St. Paul, White Bear Lake and the Hillcrest neighborhood of St. Paul. Reinhardt lives in White Bear Lake with her husband.
Reinhardt, 63, has a Ph.D. in public administration from Hamline University and has served as the county board chair four times. During her next term, she said she plans to continue “being a tireless advocate for the people of Ramsey County.” She said that her priority will be to focus on prosperity, opportunity and well-being for all.
