Annie takes center stage

The heart-warming musical Annie is the rags-to-riches story of a plucky young girl named Annie and her journey from a New York orphanage to the luxurious home of a billionaire.
Annie takes center stage at Hill-Murray School, 2625 Larpenteur Ave. E., Maplewood, from Friday, Dec. 4 through Sunday, Dec. 13, with Friday and Saturday performances at 7 p.m. and Sunday matinees at 2 p.m.  Tickets cost $5 to $15. A free senior citizen preview will be offered Thursday, Dec. 3. An ASL Interpreted Performance will take place Sunday, Dec. 13. Please call the box office to reserve ASL seating. For tickets and additional information, visit www.hill-murray.org/theatre or call the Box Office at 651-748-2417.
The show includes memorably Broadway scores like “It’s the Hard Knock Life” and “Tomorrow,” along with fantastic visual choreography, hilarious script and, of course, the adorable dog Sandy. Inspired by Sandy, the Hill-Murray cast and crew will be partnering with Coco’s Heart Dog Rescue to offer adoption events beginning one hour before every performance.
The Sandy on stage was rescued by Coco’s Heart and adopted by Hill-Murray teacher.
