Public meetings to explore future of Ramsey County’s ice arenas

Ramsey County Parks and Recreation and the county’s arena task force will host seven public meetings during November to gather input on current arena usage and provide the public a chance to learn about the work of the task force.

Ramsey County manages 13 sheets of ice at 11 arenas, making it one of the largest arena systems in Minnesota.

Earlier this year, the county board of commissioners appointed an arena task force to lead a study of the county’s ice arenas and make recommendations for a long-term strategy for the system.

The meetings will be:

• Wednesday, Nov. 4, 6 p.m., Roseville Library, 2180 Hamline Ave. N., Roseville. The focus will be all county-owned arenas.
