Falcon Heights, Roseville school board candidates listed

Candidate filing for city and school district elections without a primary has closed Aug. 11 following two weeks of being open for candidates. Some of this November's upcoming off-year elections are sizing up to be more competitive than others.
 
Potential candidates had until 5 p.m. Tuesday to file their affidavits of candidacy with Ramsey County Elections and to pay a $2 filing fee.
 
In the Review area, seats are up for a vote at Falcon Heights City Hall and on the Roseville Area Schools District 623 Board. 
 
Falcon Heights' mayor's seat is up, along with two at-large council member seats and a seat to fill a vacancy for the term ending Jan. 1, 2018. Mayor and council terms are four years.
 
On the Roseville school board, three at-large seats are up for the vote. School board terms are four years.
 
Election day is Nov. 3 and the full list of candidates follows:
 
Falcon Heights
 
• Mayor: Peter Lindstrom (incumbent), Lisa L. McDonald 
•Two at-large council member seats: Tom Brace, Randy Gustafson, Gordon Strom, Joe Brown Thunder (incumbent, appointment expired)
• Council member at-large, filling vacancy: Tony Fischer, Michael Tracy
 
Roseville Area Schools District 623 Board
 
• Three at-large seats: Todd Anderson, Erin Azer (incumbent), Mike Boguszewski, Bob Murray
