Falcon Heights

Arrest

A 22-year-old man was pulled over and arrested June 23 at Snelling and Roselawn avenues and booked at the jail on charges of felony fleeing police in a motor vehicle, third-degree DWI, driving after license revocation, no proof of insurance and no vehicle registration. He was booked at the jail.

Disorderly conduct

A man who couldn’t handle his liquor was arrested June 26 at a restaurant in the 1700 block of Snelling Avenue. The 36-year-old exhibited “offensive and obscene conduct,” according to the police report. No other details were released. The suspect, who tested .27 percent BAC on a preliminary breath test, was cited for disorderly conduct and transported to Ramsey County Detox.

Lauderdale

Arrest

A man was pulled over June 27 in the 2400 block of Larpenteur Avenue for a burned-out license plate light, and that was only the beginning. The 34-year-old was also charged with driving after license revocation, no proof of insurance, an unrestrained child on board and an outstanding Ramsey County gross-misdemeanor warrant for his arrest. He was booked at the jail.

Little Canada

He’s now her
ex-boyfriend

When the 41-year-old woman awoke, she found her empty wallet lying on the kitchen counter at her Big Circle trailer and her boyfriend, now her ex-boyfriend, long gone. Deputies are looking for the 38-year-old who has no permanent address, a lengthy criminal record, a warrant for his arrest and the missing $560.

Out of control

A “large,” 14-year-old youth took Mom’s cell phone and credit card for some online shopping, June 27. When Mom objected, out-of-control junior shoved her into a wall and hit her with some couch cushions. When his 16-year-old brother objected, junior let him have it with a shoe. Deputies responded to the commotion and left for the Ramsey County Juvenile Detention Center with junior in tow. He was charged with gross-misdemeanor 911 call interference, disturbing the peace and disorderly conduct.

Weight gainer?

Was it a scrapper, a fitness failure, or just a garden variety vandal? All anyone knows for sure is that someone broke a skylight on a defunct fitness studio in the first block of Minnesota Avenue then smashed in a glass door. The damage was estimated at $300-$400 and deputies are attempting to contact the building owner to get a handle on the total loss.
