Lake Elmo Library Summer Reading Program

Lake Elmo Public Library Summer Reading Program continues with events and chances to win prizes until Aug. 15. Superhero readers of all ages may sign up at the circulation desk for the program.  Story time for preschool children continues every Friday at 10:30 a.m.

The library is sponsoring a variety of free children’s programs every Wednesday at 3 p.m. throughout the summer.  Some of the upcoming programs are: June 24 – “Abrakadoodle” an art program; July 1 – “The history of our flag” by Cub Scout Pack #114 and a movie “All Aboard America”; July 8 – the Stillwater High School Board Game Club will present “A Ticket to Ride”; July 15 – movie “Paddington” – free popcorn; July 22 – Dodge Nature Center Reptiles and Amphibians Program; July 29 – Cedar Pet Clinic of Lake Elmo presents “What Pet Should I Get?”

Children can win prizes for completing goals in their reading program such as a free ice cream cone from Gorman’s, a KwikTrip coupon for a cheeseburger or chicken sandwich, weekly drawing for a $10 Target gift card and the Grand Prize drawing for a bank account certificate from Lake Elmo Bank.
