Saturday night fever

Arrests, Thefts and more around Falcon Heights, Lauderdale, Little Canada, and Roseville - Roseville Review police reports June 16, 2015.

Falcon Heights

Arrests
Arrested May 29 at Larpenteur Avenue and Lindig Street, the 22-year-old woman was cited for no license and insurance to match.
Pot. A pipe. A license. And insurance. You need a couple of those to legally drive but this man just had the other two. The 23-year-old was arrested May 29 at Hamline and Larpenteur avenues.

One down, one on the way
A man was reported down at Larpenteur Avenue and Albert Street on May 28. The 27-year-old tested a big .39 percent BAC. A day earlier, a 56-year-old man with an unhealthy .25 percent BAC was attempting to walk down Snelling Avenue. Both fellows were checked in at Ramsey County Detox.

Lauderdale

Been there before
A 34-year-old man, who has been down this road before, was arrested May 29 at Eustis and Ione streets for gross misdemeanor driving after license cancellation and no proof of insurance on demand. The passenger and owner of the vehicle, a 26-year female, was cited for offering up fraudulent proof of insurance.

Cracked windshield
The ol’ cracked windshield nails another scofflaw. A 34-year-old man, stopped for the windshield, was arrested on an outstanding gross-misdemeanor warrant for his arrest for failure to appear in a Goodhue County courtroom. He was also charged with driving after license revocation.

Finger pointing
Unable to find common ground, a pair of 22-year-olds, one male and one female involved in a civil dispute, were charged with fifth-degree assault for unpleasantness created by the pair in the 1600 block of Eustis Street on May 27.

Workin’ hard for the money
A prowler just about destroyed the coin boxes on a washer and dryer May 26 at an apartment building in the 2300 block of Larpenteur Avenue. Damage was estimated at $200 and the theft estimated at $30. So, now the prowler knows how to do it, and went next door to the next apartment building and did the same thing—$200 more in damage to get another $30 in quarters. No suspects.

Little Canada

Saturday night fever
It just wouldn’t be a Saturday night without a little meth and some spray paint fumes, assuming you enjoy hallucinations. After smoking the meth and then deciding to paint his car inside a Payne Avenue garage, a 19-year-old man began running through yards in the wee hours of Sunday morning, June 7, alternately laughing and yelling, with tears in his eyes. Neighbors called 911. The White Bear Township teen was put on ice on a disorderly conduct charge so jailers could keep an eye on his condition.
