Henry Sibley High School receives S.A.D.D. award

Henry Sibley High School received a Promising Practices Award for Henry Sibley’s Students Against Destructive Decisions (S.A.D.D.) by Synergy & Leadership Exchange at the Character Recognition Awards ceremony at the State Capitol May 21. S.A.D.D. empowers young people to help each other make healthy life choices. The group investigates and implements educational, positive and creative ways to bring information to the student body about e-cigarettes, texting and driving, drug usage, energy drinks, and relationship violence. The Minnesota Promising Practices award recognizes Henry Sibley High School as a school that has developed and implemented a practice promoting character development.
