Writing workshops with local author Erin Hart

The Wildwood branch of Washington County Library announces a writing workshop titled “History Makers: Writing from Memory.” Local author Erin Hart will present this six-part workshop from 2:00 to 3:30 p.m. April 27 and 30, and May 4, 7, 11, and 14.

Erin Hart is best known for her crime fiction, although she has years of memoir writing and teaching experience. Hart uses arts activities, such as movement, music, and drawing, to engage the minds, bodies, and all five senses of workshop participants. She also works in storytelling and performing techniques because she believes “writing is at heart a communication and meant to be shared.”

There is no charge for this writing workshop series and no experience is necessary. Participants should plan to attend all six sessions. Call the Wildwood Library at 651-426-2042 to register.

The Wildwood branch of Washington County Library is at 763 Stillwater Road, Mahtomedi.
