Falcon Heights

Arrest
Hiding behind an illegal window tint March 27 at Snelling and Larpenteur avenues, the 26-year-old woman was also arrested for driving after license suspension.

Bad combination
A 44-year-old woman was arrested March 27 in the 1800 block of Fairview Avenue for the bad combination of speeding, no insurance and driving after license revocation.

Repeat offender
A stop March 23 at Roselawn and Snelling avenues for an equipment violation was just the beginning for the man. He was also cited for gross misdemeanor no insurance, driving after license revocation (second offense) and operating an unregistered vehicle. The 29-year-old was booked at the Ramsey County Jail for an outstanding warrant for his arrest for driving after license revocation.

Unsafe at any speed
A 20-year-old man with a .10 percent BAC was cited March 25 at California Avenue and Albert Street for violation of an instructional permit, underage drinking and driving, unsafe passing and “driving to the left of the center lane.”

Lauderdale

Another bad combination
Running a red light with no insurance got the 27-year-old man written up March 23 at Larpenteur Avenue and Eustis Street.

Final four
Her license was suspended, and she was driving a stolen car. That’s two. Possession of drug paraphernalia is three, and an outstanding Hennepin County warrant for a controlled substance violation is four. The 23-year-old was taken into custody at Larpenteur Avenue and Hwy. 280 on the four offenses March 24, then booked into the Ramsey County Jail.

One stop, two arrests
The owner of the vehicle, a 23-year-old woman, pulled over March 29 at Larpenteur Avenue and Hwy. 280 was cited for allowing the illegal operation of a motor vehicle. The driver, a 24-year-old man, was cited for driving with a suspended license, a burnt-out headlight and possession of pot and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Vehicle forfeiture
Testing .13 percent BAC following a stop March 25 at Larpenteur Avenue and Eustis Street, along with his previous alcohol-related offenses, meant an arrest for gross misdemeanor, second-degree DWI for the 30-year-old from Oakdale. His vehicle was impounded for forfeiture.

Little Canada

Burgled
A neighbor knocked on the door of a town home in the 2400 block of Rice Street just before midnight March 30 and said she had been burgled. Arriving deputies found a window that wouldn’t lock on her trailer. A laptop, video camera and a digital camera valued at a total of $2,300 were taken.

Lights and sirens
What’s suspicious about two people sitting in Volkswagen Golf with no license plates and a burned out headlight in a Labore Road parking lot at 4 a.m.? Pretty much everything. When deputies attempted to investigate the VW, the driver accelerated and led police on a 17-mile chase, terminating in West St. Paul. Responding squads ended the March 22 pursuit for safety reasons after the hatchback entered a residential area.

Not a good sign
A woman made arrangements to purchase $1,079 worth of fuel oil from a distributor in the 3000 block of Rice Street on Feb. 24, but after taking delivery of the oil, the woman’s check bounced. The victim went to the company address on the check, and found the windows boarded up. Not a good sign.
