It makes sense to suspend your auto insurance when your driver’s license is cancelled, but you’re also supposed to stop driving. A 36-year-old man was cited at Larpenteur Avenue and 33rd Avenue S.E. March 14 for driving after license cancellation and no insurance.

A tagger ugling up a bridge at Como Avenue and Hwy. 280 March 15 got the attention of police. In addition to the spray paint, the 23-year-old was found in possession of a knife and brass knuckles. The weapons and paint were seized and the man was cited for criminal damage to property and possession of dangerous weapons.

The pink-haired suspect, identified by bar employees as a 24-year-old, fled the scene in a white Pontiac, according to witnesses. The purses, one containing cash, a money order, makeup and a phone was valued at $2,300. The second handbag, containing purse stuff, cash and a pair of phones, was valued at $1,900. An investigation is underway.
