It’s not a match in Falcon Heights

Arrests, Thefts and more around Falcon Heights, Lauderdale, Little Canada, and Roseville - Roseville Review police reports March 10, 2015.

Falcon Heights

Arrests
An officer reminded a 25-year-old woman with a citation at Larpenteur and Snelling avenues Feb. 19 that a valid license, proof of insurance and two license plates—not just one—are required to drive in Minnesota.

A 22-year-old female was stopped Feb. 20 at Hamline and Garden avenues for driving a non-roadworthy vehicle, particulars not reported. In addition to the equipment violation, she was cited for no insurance and driving after license suspension.

Driving after license revocation, no proof of insurance and speeding adds up to a court date for the 34-year-old man stopped Feb. 19 in the 1400 block of Larpenteur Avenue.

Not a match
Both her driver’s license and her registration were expired. Her license plates were current, except they had been issued to another vehicle. The forces of justice began writing Feb. 16 and a citation was presented to the 49-year old at Snelling and Garden avenues.

Lauderdale

Arrest
A cracked, “pull-me-over” windshield led to citations for driving after license suspension, no insurance and, of course, the windshield for the 25-year-old woman stopped at Hwy. 280 and Como Avenue on Feb. 19.

Little Canada

Chore boy
A teen, concerned that Mom was not going to pay him for chores as promised, kicked over a space heater Feb. 24, flipped a couch, trashed the apartment and threatened Mom. The 14-year-old was arrested on a domestic assault charge and transported to the Ramsey County Juvenile Detention Center.

The pillow case
A local homeowner was charged $460 by a Utah firm for pillows and “reconditioned electronics” that he never received. The victim didn’t particularly care, because he never ordered the items in the first place and the credit card company credited him the $460 he was charged. The case was turned over to Utah authorities.

Arrest
A customer heard suspicious noises the evening of Feb. 26 on the second floor of a secure storage facility in the first block of County Road B. Figuring someone was up to no good, he called 911. When an arriving K-9 deputy threatened to send in the dog if the intruder didn’t show himself, the suspect threw in the towel. The 35-year-old St. Paul man was arrested for felony possession of a switchblade knife and burglary tools and was jailed on a felony warrant for his arrest for auto theft.
