League of Women Voters meetings

Ramsey County has ambitious goals: to cultivate prosperity and combat concentrated areas of poverty. Achieving those goals will require collaboration of individuals and groups, Commissioner Mary Jo McGuire says.
McGuire and a member of the Ramsey County Policy and Planning team will discuss those goals and what we can do to achieve them at the Feb. 17-18 unit meetings of the Roseville-Maplewood-Falcon Heights Chapter of the League of Women Voters. Members will have an opportunity to ask questions and engage in a discussion about the county’s comprehensive long-range plan.
The Feb. 17 meeting will be at the Little Venetian Restaurant, 2900 Rice Street in Little Canada. A social hour will begin at 5:30 p.m.; the program will begin at 7 p.m.   The Feb. 18 meeting will be at 9:30 a.m. at Resurrection Lutheran Church, 910 County Road D in Roseville.
The meetings are free and open to the public.
