Farmington man killed in Mendota Heights car crash
A car crash early Friday, April 25 in Mendota Heights left one man dead and another injured.
Kevin Hough, 52, of Farmington, was killed in the head-on collision at Highway 55 and Northland Drive just before 6 a.m.
Gary Ferm, 53, of Bloomington, was injured.
Ferm was driving a 2005 Toyota Camry eastbound on Hwy. 55 when his vehicle veered into the opposing lane of westbound traffic, smashing head-on into Hough's vehicle, a 2006 Ford Focus, according to the Minnesota State Patrol incident report.
The road was dry at the time of the crash, according to the report.
Authorities blocked off Hwy. 55 for more than an hour after the crash.
