See you in court
Speeding and running a red light will get you pulled over. Not having a valid license, or a license plate light for that matter, just adds to your problem. It all happened to an 18-year-old man Feb. 1 at Larpenteur and Fairview avenues.

Lauderdale

Arrest
The 36-year-old man pulled over at Hwy. 280 and Broadway Street N.E. may have been hiding behind his snow-covered windshield because his driver’s license was canceled and his insurance was expired. He was arrested Jan. 30.

Little Canada

Animal control
There’s a dog on thin ice in Little Canada that has been reported running loose on four separate occasions this winter. What’s happening in that dog’s fenced yard, as well as in others, is the snow from plows is piling up and the dogs are climbing over. To keep your dog safe, and to avoid financial penalties, you may want to do a little shoveling along your fence line. You will avoid possible injuries to a carefree dog as well as fees to bail your dog out of “jail.”  Impound and boarding fees begin at $71 and increase $20 a day in many communities.
