RAHS duo competes at state

Two members of the Roseville Area High School girls swimming and diving team represented their squad and school at the state meet last week. Junior Lauren Kacmarynski and eighth-grader Michelle Schlossmacher-Smith competed in the Class AA state meet at the University of Minnesota Aquatic Center.

Kacmarynski qualified for state in the 100-yard freestyle. She finished 23rd in the preliminary round and did not advance to the finals.

Schlossmacher-Smith took part in the diving competition. She advanced to the finals, where she finished 14th.
