Letter: Supporting Mark Traynor

To the editor:

I enthusiastically support Mark Traynor’s candidacy for the Roseville Area School Board. I have served with Mark on the Roseville Area Schools Foundation Board for the past six years.

For two of those years, Mark provided strong leadership as board chair. He has been instrumental in planning and organizing the Foundation’s successful Spring Festival fundraiser at Har Mar Mall.

Mark is a hard worker and an excellent listener who understands the complex issues facing our schools. He is thorough in his research, creative in his ideas and solution-minded in his deliberations. Mark is very dedicated to providing each and every student in our district with the best possible opportunity to achieve his or her potential. He will hold the district accountable for improving the achievement of all students.

Mark has been an active volunteer in our schools and community for many years. He knows that strong schools make strong communities. He understands the importance of the District’s programs for learners of all ages, from pre-schoolers through senior citizens. He will work to maintain and grow our many successful community education programs.
It was Mark’s dedication and enthusiasm for our schools that led me to become the treasurer of his campaign. Please join me in voting for Mark Traynor for the School Board of Roseville Area Schools on November 5.
