Backpack bonanza!


Family Values for Life volunteers gave away 1,500 backpacks during their event that also included a hot dog dinner, cotton candy, haircuts and more.

The Farnsworth Aerospace Band performed while lines formed around the Wilder Recreation Center for a free backpack give-away.

Michael and Earl, passports completed, each pick up a backpack filled with school supplies at the Wilder Recreation Center Aug. 28.

The Poet, The Rapper Pierre Fulford takes the stage with Wilder Rec Center kids during a rap about school and education.

St. Paul School Superintendent Valeria Salva gave a school pep talk to families at the third annual Family Values for Life free backpack event.

Familiy Values for Life gave out 1,500 backpacks just days before school started.
