On May 19, the New Brighton Girl Scouts service unit held their first ever Bridging and Awards Ceremony.

Seventy-three girls bridged (rank advanced) to the next level, and 29 girls received their bronze, silver and  gold awards.  Lexi Herman is the only girl who achieved her gold award, which is the highest award a Girl Scout can receive.  It recognizes the achievement, which includes a sustainable service project that benefits the community.
