Two RAHS students earn National Merit Scholarships
Roseville Area High School principal Jenny Loeck has announced that Roseville Area High School seniors Logan Daniels (right) and William Thomas (left) have been selected as winners of National Merit $2,500 Scholarships.
Daniels and Thomas were two of seven RAHS students that were National Merit Semifinalists. Semifinalists represent less than one percent of the nation’s high school graduating seniors. They are the only participants who had an opportunity to advance in the competition for some 8,300 Merit Scholarship awards. There were 321 National Merit Semifinalists from Minnesota representing 104 schools.
“We are so proud of Logan and William,” Loeck said. “This year we had seven outstanding students represent Roseville Area High School as National Merit Semifinalists and to have two win National Merit Scholarships is outstanding.”
Last year, two RAHS students were recognized as semifinalists.
