City nibbles at ordinance to ban feeding deer
On Feb. 28, the St. Paul Police Department charged Jeffery Trevino, 37, with two counts of second degree murder in the disappearance of his wife, Kira Trevino, 30, of St. Paul.
St. Paul Police were called to investigate an assault at Moonshine Saloon shortly before 2 a.m. Feb. 23.

Authorities withhold identity of suspect
Maplewood police arrested a 17-year-old male at 12:15 p.m. March 1 at a Maplewood home in connection with the murder of Anna Hurd.
At a press conference Friday afternoon, acting Maplewood Police Chief Dave Kvam did not identify the suspect, because he had not been formally charged in the case.
Lake Elmo civic leaders have long discussed traffic safety on the city’s main thoroughfares, citing Minnesota Highway 5 from Jamaca to Manning avenues as a particular area of concern.
