"MARISOL," written by Jose Rivera, runs at the Historic Mound's Theatre at 1029 Hudson Road, from Nov. 8-10 and 15-17 at 7 p.m. and Nov. 18 at 2 p.m. The show is produced by Theater Underground, Student Activities and the Metropolitan State University Theater Program.
A pork and sauerkraut dinner featuring Our Savior's famous homemade sauerkraut will be held at Our Savior's Lutheran Church, 674 Johnson Pkwy, on Sunday, Nov.4, from noon to 1:30 p.m. A bake sale will also be offered with sauerkraut for sale as well as many other delectable items.

Michael Dennis Browne, whose poetry has won two Minnesota Book Awards, will be featured at the Benedictine Center, 2675 Benet Road, Maplewood, on Wednesday, Nov. 7 from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at a reading called "By Heart: Poems Spoken from Memory and What it Can Teach Us about the Making of Poems."
