North/Tartan adapted bowling team wins state title

In its 10-year history, the combined North-Tartan adapted bowling team has won four state titles, and they gathered to celebrate another one on May 22 with bowling and pizza at the Sun Ray Bowling Center.

Ponies' bats send Polars packing

The North Polars took on the Stillwater Ponies in Section 4AAA quarterfinal play May 28 at Municipal Stadium in St. Paul.

The contest was played on Memorial Day as a result of postponements from May 27 when heavy rains flooded fields in the surrounding communities.
