Good news, bad news for Mounds View boys track

There was plenty of bitterness and frustration in the voice of Mounds View High School boys track and field coach Ross Fleming on Saturday. A day removed from the finals of the Section 5AA meet and Fleming was still stinging from the disqualification of one of his athletes on Friday.

Mounds View baseball winds up fourth in section

Thanks to some rain delays, the Mounds View High School baseball team played three section playoff games last week. Only one went the Mustangs' way, however, as they went 1-2 and finished fourth in Section 4AAA.

Pioneers "squeak" by Titans in marathon section contest

The rainy weather of May 25 postponed Section 4AAA baseball games and forced them to be moved to Municipal Stadium in St. Paul to get them all in.

New Tartan principal officially on board

A new principal at Tartan High School will be taking the reins July 1.

At its May 22 meeting, the District 622 School Board hired Adam Ehrmantraut, who is currently an assistant principal at Minnetonka High School. Ehrmantraut's annual salary will be $122,560.
