Huskies looking for redemption

A year ago the St. Anthony Village High School fastpitch softball team was one of only two teams yet to lose a game in the section playoffs. The Huskies were in search of another trip to the state tournament but it all unraveled in back-to-back losses on the same day.

Concordia Academy baseball

Concordia Academy opened the Section 4AA playoffs May 23 with a 7-5 victory over St. Paul Johnson. The victory sent the Beacons into a second-round match-up against second-seeded and fifth-ranked Minnehaha Academy on Friday.

RAHS baseball

The Raiders' baseball team drew the seventh seed in the Section 4AAA tournament and opened the post-season May 25 against 10th-seeded White Bear Lake. The winner of that game moved on to face second-seeded and 11th-ranked Cretin-Derham Hall on Saturday.
