Mounds View a top-four seed

Nabbing one of the top four seeds in the Section 4AAA baseball playoffs gives a team a nice advantage over the lowest eight seeds. Those top four seeds receive a first-round bye and need to win just once to reach the double-elimination portion of the tournament.

The Friends of Roseville's Harriet Alexander Nature Center (FORHANC) will be hosting a pig roast party. It will be from 6 -9 p.m. June 7 at the Oval (the banquet room at the Roseville Skating Center). This is FORHANC's big fundraising campaign kick-off event and the cost is only $20 per person.
