St. Paul Ski Club holds junior awards banquet

The Maplewood-based St. Paul Ski Club has finally given up on winter. Thanks to several Herculean efforts to make snow this past season, the club managed to host nearly a full slate of tournaments despite the warm weather.

Letter: Faced with cancer

To my readers for the last 22 years of writing, I want you to know I am faced with a fifth cancer which can be treated with radiation and also with chemotherapy. I am faced with seven weeks of radiation Monday through Friday starting on April 19. I have a 50/50 chance of survival.

The Mahtomedi Zephyrs came to North St. Paul April 20 to do battle with the North Polars. It was a crucial Classic Suburban Conference (CSC) baseball game in the race to the title.
