Hill-Murray, North take wins in boys' hockey

The South St. Paul Packers traveled to Oakdale Dec. 17 to meet the Tartan Titans in a Classic Suburban Conference (CSC) boys' hockey game.

The opposing team left the arena with a 3-1 victory over the Titans and early season record of 4-1-1. The Packers are 1-0 in the CSC.

Spartans hand Polars a 2-0 loss in CSC girls' hockey

The Simley Spartans kept the North Polars at bay during their Dec. 16 girls' hockey contest and left Polar with a 2-0 Classic Suburban Conference shutout.

Simley also limited the Polars to just 12 goal attempts in the girls' hockey win.
