Rising Stars level 8 and 9 gymnasts traveled out of the United States in January to compete at the Cancun Classic Invitational in Cancun, Mexico. The level 8 team had a strong finish, placing second overall with a team score of 110.
On March 2, Miniapple Int’l Montessori School in Oakdale is holding an open house in celebration of National Montessori Education Week from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. There will be presentations about Montessori education, crafts and activities for children, and a parent education night from 6 to 7 p.m.

Washington County will hold a public auction on Friday, March 24 at 1 p.m. for the purpose of selling 14 pieces of property, which were forfeited to the state of Minnesota for nonpayment of taxes. The properties are located in Forest Lake, New Scandia, Oakdale, Pine Springs and Lake Elmo.
